Geboren 1994 in Berlin. Studierte bis 2018 Schauspiel an der Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover. Sie besuchte Schauspielworkshops bei Giles Foreman und Lena Lessing in London, Paris, Berlin und in der Schweiz und nahm an dem Foundation Course im Giles Foreman Centre for Acting in London teil. Während ihres Studium spielte sie in Leviathan in der Regie von Stephan Hintze und in Buch (5 ingredientes de la vida) in der Regie von Titus Georgi am Studiotheater Hannover. Für letzteres erhielt sie beim Treffen der Schauspielschulen 2017 in Stuttgart für die Rolle der Frau den mit 2.500 Euro dotierten Solopreis. Am Staatstheater Braunschweig war sie in der Spielzeit 2016/17 als Rosa in Betrunkene unter der Regie von Stephan Rottkamp zu sehen. Am Nationaltheater Mannheim spielte sie in Kleiner Mann – was nun? in der Regie von Volker Lösch. Am Staatsschauspiel Dresden gastierte sie als Mary Warren in Hexenjagd, ebenfalls inszeniert von Stephan Rottkamp.
Seit der Spielzeit 2019/20 ist Amelle Schwerk Ensemblemitglied des Schauspiel Hannover und spielt u. a. in IKI UND ICH. radikalmensch und Peer Gynt. 2023 wird sie für ihre Titelrolle in Peer Gynt zudem mit dem Therese Giehse Preis ausgezeichnet. 2022 erhielt Amelle Schwerk den Förderpreis Weiter so! der GFS Hannover.
